Working closely with Product, Architecture, Operations, Security, and executive leadership teams, you will lead high-performing engineering organizations that build secure, reliable, and client-focused technology solutions.

Job Overview

The Vice President, Software Development Manager is responsible for leading multiple software engineering teams supporting Digital Experience, Cash & Liquidity, and Money Movement platforms. This role oversees engineering strategy, technology delivery, platform modernization, organizational leadership, and operational excellence. The position partners across business and technology functions to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that enhance advisor and investor experiences while supporting long‑term enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop software engineering teams across multiple product and technology domains.
  • Establish and execute technology roadmaps, engineering strategies, and modernization initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive adoption of cloud‑native architectures, microservices, API‑first development, event‑driven systems, and modern engineering practices.
  • Champion AI‑assisted software engineering capabilities to improve developer productivity, software quality, automation, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to deliver strategic technology solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across digital experience platforms, cash management capabilities, payment and money movement solutions, integrations, and cloud services.
  • Oversee delivery planning, resource management, budgeting, risk mitigation, and execution governance across multiple Agile teams.
  • Establish engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, quality frameworks, testing strategies, and operational excellence programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Ensure technology solutions meet security, compliance, privacy, resiliency, and operational risk standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, inclusion, continuous improvement, and talent development.
  • Utilize engineering and operational metrics to continuously improve software delivery, platform reliability, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of software engineering experience supporting enterprise application development and technology delivery.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing multiple software development teams and large‑scale engineering organizations.
  • Experience leading cloud migration, platform modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with enterprise application architecture, cloud technologies, API and integration platforms, software development lifecycle practices, and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale Agile delivery organizations and partner effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $155,300.00 - $258,800.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
