Job Duties: Design and implement enterprise-grade unified communications systems. Oversee migration strategies from on-premise unified communications platforms to cloud-based solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Manage regional and global unified communications projects, including direct inward dialing (DID) porting, gateway upgrades, and E911 configuration across multiple geographies. Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts and maintain detailed project schedules and contingency plans. Maintain and update audit documentation trackers, including access control, authentication standards, and system architecture diagrams. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards through structured documentation and procedural reviews. Participate in vendor recertification and escalation processes to ensure service quality and alignment with business needs. Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents and coordinate resolution efforts across time zones. Provide technical input for contact center infrastructure, including CRM integration, voice recording, and workforce management systems. Document and maintain capability matrices for unified communications systems, highlighting subject matter expert roles, training resources, and system categorization. Facilitate knowledge sharing across global teams through structured documentation and training portals. Analyze compatibility and replacement strategies for legacy systems in alignment with Webex modernization efforts. Develop and document troubleshooting methodologies and integration workflows for third-party applications.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 50 months of experience in job offered or closely related role. Requires five years of experience in the following: Cisco Unified Communications platforms including CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, and Expressway; Configuration and management of SIP trunks, SRST, CUBE, and voice gateways; VolP protocols including SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP and SRTP; Video Conferencing Systems including Cisco Telepresence and Webex Room Kits; Design and Troubleshooting of QoS for voice and video traffic; Networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, routing and switching, VLANs, ACLs, and NAT. Conducting network readiness assessments for UC deployments; Securing UC environments using TLS, SRTP, certificates, and firewall traversal techniques; Monitoring and Troubleshooting tools including Cisco RTMT, and Wireshark; and Performing root cause analysis and optimizing UC system performance.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$195,000.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
