Position Overview: Trophy Point is seeking a motivated and experienced Loan Originator to join our team. The Loan Originator will be responsible for originating and processing loan applications, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a deep understanding of loan products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Loan Origination & Processing
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential borrowers.
  • Assist clients in selecting suitable loan products based on their financial needs.
  • Collect and review financial information from clients to complete loan applications.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to ensure timely processing of loan applications.
  • Review and verify all documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Submit completed loan applications to underwriting and monitor the progress.

Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan application process.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about their loan status.

Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to loan origination.
  • Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions and client interactions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on loan origination activities to management.

Process & Relationship Management
  • Support and improve investor communication processes and workflows
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all investor interactions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in loan origination or a related role.
