Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, financial management tools, and project management software is often required. Company Overview:

Allerium is a Comtech Telecommunications segment (NASDAQ: CMTL) with over 40 years of experience in mission-critical connectivity. We provide life-saving connections through three core areas:

  • Call Handling Platforms: NENA i3-compliant systems (Guardian, Mira) used by thousands of PSAPs.
  • Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Core Services: Infrastructure including ESInet, NGCS, and 4G/5G call routing.
  • Location & Messaging Technologies: Precise positioning for MNOs and enterprise customers.

Position Summary:

Allerium seeks an accomplished and mission-driven Sr. Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth across its Public Safety Solutions business unit. Reporting to the SVP / GM of Public Safety Solutions, this leader will be a key driver of the segment's growth, working closely with product, engineering, and operations to win and retain strategic accounts.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth

  • Develop and own the annual and multi-year sales plan aligned to Allerium's growth objectives.
  • Drive new logo acquisition and expansion revenue across PSAPs, ECCs, state 9-1-1 authorities, and wireless carriers.
  • Identify, qualify, and close large, complex multi-year contracts — including state-level NG9-1-1 deployments.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across the sales funnel: bookings, pipeline coverage, win rates, and retention.

Business Unit Leadership

  • Own P&L accountability for sales performance within the Public Safety Solutions unit.
  • Define go-to-market positioning for call handling migrations (legacy to cloud/Mira) and OSP 911 delivery.
  • Lead responses to RFPs and competitive bids for state and statewide NG9-1-1 contracts.

Team Development and Culture

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Sales, Proposals, and Quote experts.
  • Establish a disciplined sales methodology and coach the team on complex government procurement cycles.
  • Foster a high-accountability, mission-driven culture reflecting Allerium's core values.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Track record of closing complex, multi-year government or enterprise technology contracts.
  • Deep familiarity with the NG9-1-1 ecosystem (NENA i3, ESInet, NGCS, FCC policy).
  • Experience selling call handling, CAD, or communications technology to ECCs or PSAPs.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience selling to or partnering with Tier 1/2 wireless carriers on 911 network services.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based migrations and SaaS/MRR-based government contract structures.
  • Active relationships within APCO, NENA, or state 9-1-1 administrator communities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

This position requires compliance with Comtech’s Drug-Free Workplace Program. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of hire. Employees may be subject to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-incident testing. Illegal drug use — including marijuana, regardless of state law — is disqualifying under federal adjudicative guidelines and DoD DFARS requirements.

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
