Human Resources Vice President

Job Summary

Based at our North America Headquarters in Roswell, GA, we are hiring a Human Resources Vice President. As a key member of both the Performance Minerals Americas and Human Resources Leadership Teams, you will act as the strategic architect of the people agenda for our business. In this strategic leadership position, you will drive high‑level organizational design, talent engagement, and change management initiatives while ensuring operational HR excellence across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Translate business strategy into a scalable human capital plan, aligning labor costs and organizational structures with growth and EBITDA targets.
  • Transformation & M&A: Act as a core driver for regional optimization programs and oversee major post‑acquisition integration plans.
  • Labor & Industrial Relations: Drive the regional labor relations strategy, proactively negotiating and administering multiple Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) to ensure a stable industrial climate.
  • Total Rewards & Pensions: Execute performance‑linked compensation cycles and provide strategic oversight of regional benefits, with a specialized focus on managing complex defined benefit plans and legacy pensions.
  • Talent & Culture: Build robust talent pipelines for critical industrial/commercial roles, lead succession planning, and unify the culture across seven diverse geographies into a "One Business" mindset.
  • Health & Safety: Partner closely with Operations and EHS teams to champion our "Safer Together" culture and drive accountability for leading safety indicators.
Candidate Profile
  • Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or Law.
  • Industry Experience: 15+ years of proven HR leadership experience within an industrial, mining, or heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Matrix Leadership: Strong track record of reporting into a global HR function while supporting a decentralized business head.
  • Labor Relations Expertise: Deep, hands‑on experience acting as the primary strategist for complex union agreements and dispute resolutions.
  • Benefits Acumen: Explicit expertise in navigating complex benefits portfolios, particularly defined benefit plans and pension structures.
