Job description

Legacy Healthcare is currently looking for a Vice President, Finance to lead the day-to-day analytical and planning activities of the organization. The Vice President, Finance will function as a trusted resource for the CFO in the interpretation of financial results and guide operational staff in the management of facility financial performance. The ideal candidate will have ten (10) years of relevant work experience, including at least two (2) years supporting a long-term care organization. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located at our corporate office in Skokie, IL.

Essential Duties:
  • Maintain and produce daily, monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting and supporting data sets, as required
  • Perform ad hoc analyses at the request of management and the facilities
  • Drive the annual budget process
  • Develop new analytic datasets (KPI's, benchmarks, etc.) where appropriate
  • Lead the development and adoption of new analytical and automation tools
  • Assume the role of principal liaison to external third-party software development and reporting tool vendors
  • Aid in the development and production of proposals and presentations
  • Participate in broader financial operations (Accounting, AR, etc.) improvement efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years relevant full-time work experience in finance or accounting with exposure to financial reporting, analysis and budgeting while leading small teams
  • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) with demonstrated coursework in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related subjects
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Knowledge of various data mining tools and techniques used to generate business insight
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) or more years in the long-term care industry
  • Graduate degree
