Salary:

The Vice President, Land Development is a key member of the Sacramento Land Development and House Building leadership team, responsible for leading the development of land opportunities, including navigating local zoning laws, environmental regulations and city/county approval processes. The VP plays a key role in shaping the long-term growth of Anthem.


You are

You will

  • Partner with senior leaders on defining and executing on Anthems land development strategy
  • Assist through the acquisition and entitlements processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with land development contractors.
  • Provide robust analytics and reporting, to ensure leadership is equipped to make long term strategic decisions for Anthem
  • Act as a steward of Anthems values, cultivating a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team environment.
  • Foster professional growth by mentoring team members and supporting career development, in the spirit of the Anthem Way
  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction of land development projects for the Sacramento Office

You have

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10+ years proven experience in land development
  • Strong business acumen, with superior oral and written communication skills
  • Well developed skills in analytics and reporting
  • Established positive relationships with brokers and competitors
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local regulations related to doing business in California

Salary Range:$200,000.00 - $275,000.00 based on experience
