Job Title: Vice President, CRM & Platforms Lead

Department: Global Distribution 

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Head of Sales Enablement

FLSA Code: Exempt 

Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 

 

Job Summary:

The Vice President, CRM & Platforms Lead will be responsible for the development & management of a distribution innovation stack, including the administration of Salesforce CRM and other emerging technologies.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, this role will develop & maintain a strategic roadmap for the CRM and other platforms; monitor system usage; identify opportunities for overall improvement to drive markering and distribution business development; provide training and education on best practices; and build platform-related reporting and analytics.

Day-to-day, you will collaborate cross-functionally with our Sales, Relationship Management, Product/RFP, Technology, Marketing, and Finance teams to capture their highest priority initiatives; design and build process enhancements in the Salesforce ecosystem; and manage resources to ensure project plans for system enhancements are delivered successfully on time. Cohen & Steers is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Act as a senior thought partner to the Head of Sales Enablement and the Distribution COO, with a strong focus on usability, adoption, and analytics impact.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify opportunities to improve sales productivity, coverage, and execution, and directly translate those opportunities into platform and data solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong technical understanding--including data architecture--and the ability to translate technical issues across different business units into requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT resources and leverage AI to
    • Architect small-to-large solutions.
    • Define epics for development and deployment, maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
    • Manage sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
    • Ensure maintenance of ongoing CRM & Sales Enablement process documentation and system configurations as business processes evolve and new features are added.
  • Audit CRM data quality through validation rules, monitoring KPI dashboards, and bulk data processing.
  • Recommend optimal ways to drive business and marketing engagement such as lead engagement.
  • Manage the CRM Associate, whose responsibilities include:
    • User engagement and support.
    • Requirements gathering.
    • Ticket management, testing and delivery.
    • Ad hoc project support.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years B2B Salesforce administration. Asset management industry preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline business analysis and articulate problem statements and solutions.
  • Adept at communicating complex concepts and working with business partners to co-develop and lead CRM deliverables.
  • Ability to develop and maintain roadmaps and identify technical and systemic dependencies to structure medium-to-large initiatives.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification, as well as other Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer and Business Analyst preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively leading, developing, and managing people is preferred.
  • Experience integrating Marketing Automation tools. Knowledge and familiarity with industry software and tools for Sales and Marketing such as Tableau, Agentic AI, Marketo, Seismic, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Dialpad, Responsive, and Allego.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.
  • Agrees to comply with the firm's hybrid work policy ("work from home policy," as aligned with the Company's employee handbook), which currently requires reporting to the Company's New York City office four (4) days per week, with one (1) remote workday permitted.
