Overview
The Vice President, Client Management is a leader responsible for driving client excellence, operational rigor, and helps to identify growth opportunities across Influential's client portfolio. This role oversees the Client Management function for specific clients, ensuring best-in-class creator-led branded content delivery while strengthening agency partnerships, and managing a team.
The VP reports to the Influential SVP, Client Management lead for their respective agency. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, strong organizational navigation skills, and a client-first mindset rooted in Influential's VBS model and ways of working.
Responsibilities
  • Client Leadership & Agency Partnership
    • Serve as a senior point of contact for assigned agency leadership and key client stakeholders, fostering trusted, long-term partnerships
    • Maintain deep knowledge of agency clients and teams across respective assigned agency
    • Lead day to day operational teams grounded in service and support of campaign activations.
    • Manage and resolve client escalations, when necessary raising to the SVP, Client Management lead as appropriate

    Growth & Commercial Excellence
    • Partner with Influential Sales lead to manage existing client relationships and when appropriate assist in expanding client scopes and unlocking net-new client opportunities
    • Collaborate with Commercial Operations team to monitor client profitability and ensure financially sound engagements
    • Responsible for flawless execution that delivers on the promise of increasing a client's business through the lens of influencer marketing

    Operational & Team Leadership
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Client Management team in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
    • Responsible for the entire client experience inclusive of managing discipline experts across strategy & analytics, performance media, creator, creative and other capabilities that may be staffed and/or required to satisfy client business objectives
    • Ensure consistent adoption of Influential ways of working, client management processes, and tools including Monday.com
    • Responsible for margin delivery and weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership and Enablement leads at Influential

    Performance & Client Success
    • Monitor and track client performance objectives across all initiatives, ensuring program goals are met or exceeded
    • Maintain a client-first mindset, proactively identifying challenges, roadblocks, and opportunities for optimization
    • Build client trust by overseeing quality of outputs, communication, and overall portfolio performance

    Talent Development & Culture
    • Build employee capabilities in client correspondence, executive presence, meeting composure, self-awareness, and interpersonal effectiveness
    • Attend and contribute to Client Management All-Staff meetings
    • Stay current on industry trends, creator economy developments, and key client verticals
    • Lead by example, professional appearance and presence including on camera in all meetings internal and external

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in client leadership, agency management, or related roles within media, marketing, or influencer ecosystems
    Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating complex holding-company environments
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing, creator-led content, and performance-driven campaigns
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and partners with focus, resilience, and attention to detail

Travel & Work Expectations
  • Travel required for client and internal meetings
  • In-office presence highly recommended at least once per week (distance permitting)

Compensation Range: USD $150,000.00 - USD $180,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
