The anticipated salary range for this role is between $154,669.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Objectives
  • Develop and support compliance applications, systems and services that ensure the bank meets all its legal and regulatory responsibilities and obligations in connection with Anti-Money Laundering (AML). Deploy and implement software applications for operational support of platforms including functionality of Actimize AML software.
  • Collaborate with support groups on enhancements and system upgrades.
  • Design and implement configuration for Actimize AML applications.
  • Provide software support, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Communicate with business users, support teams, vendor, and all stakeholders on software application development.
  • Develop testing strategies to continuously test deployed applications using software engineering principles. Identify and resolve operational efficiencies to best suit software resource delivery, access management, and implementation.

Hybrid remote work permitted.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Special skills: Actimize Product Platform and solutions; ActOne (Case Manager); AIS (Actimize Intelligence Server); SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring); UDM (Unified Data Model); AIS Custom Models; Oracle; SQL; Java.
  • The required skill set does not need to be maintained over the full term of the required experience.
