Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse- RN/LPN to join our Northridge Village team! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • The RN/LPN ensures provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents.
  • The RN/LPN makes daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the residents condition and comfort.
  • The RN/LPN follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
  • The RN/LPN follows infection control guidelines.
  • The RN/LPN initiates procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
  • The RN/LPN assesses and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions.
  • The RN/LPN communicates with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through.

Qualifications:

  • The RN/LPN must be a graduate from an accredited school, be currently licensed in state of which applying without encumbrance, and is responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility, but not required.
  • Must possess a current CPR certification.
