Wound Care & Vaccination Nurse (RN/LVN) Athens, Mabank & Terrell, TX

BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care & Vaccination Nurse (RN or LVN) to join our team in the Athens, Mabank, and Terrell areas. This role focuses on providing high-quality wound care services and administering vaccinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform wound assessments and provide appropriate wound care treatment
  • Administer vaccinations in accordance with physician orders and state guidelines
  • Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and post-vaccination care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and caregivers

Requirements:

  • Active RN or LVN license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience (wound care experience preferred)
  • Experience with vaccinations/immunizations preferred
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Athens, Mabank, and Terrell
  • Current TB test required (company paid)
  • CPR certification required (not company paid)
