Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a retail vaccination team providing immunization services in a patient-focused healthcare setting. The RN will administer a variety of vaccines, educate patients, and ensure safe, high-quality clinical care while maintaining compliance with established healthcare standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy community healthcare, preventive medicine, and patient education.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer immunizations including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines.
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccines, potential side effects, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of vaccinations and patient records.
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols; PPE will be provided.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
  • Adapt to changing workflows and patient volumes in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.
  • Support a positive team environment while maintaining compliance with company policies and clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a patient-facing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Previous CVS/Aetna experience is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in retail health, public health, occupational health, or vaccination clinics.
  • Experience administering high-volume immunization programs.
  • Strong patient education and customer service skills.
