Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Located in the heart of captivating Anna Maria Island, SeaBreeze Vacation stands tall as a premier property management company, focusing on short-term vacation rentals that offer memories for a lifetime. Our journey began with a personal connection - a family vacation that transformed into a life-long love affair with Anna Maria Island. Trading the gray skies of the UK for Florida's sunshine, we planted our roots and set out to build a legacy.

With a firm belief that every traveler should experience their paradise, SeaBreeze Vacation has expanded from a single property in 2002 to managing approximately 100 properties today. Each one reflects our unwavering commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Our commitment shines through:

  • A local team offering intimate insights into Anna Maria Island.

  • Unwavering dedication to quality, from meticulous property inspections to top-tier housekeeping.

  • Our expansive 6,200-square-foot hub in Holmes Beach symbolizes our vision and growth.

SeaBreeze Vacation is about more than managing properties; we’re creating stories, cultivating experiences, and ensuring every guest leaves with a piece of Anna Maria Island in their heart.

We invite you to explore opportunities with us and participate in the SeaBreeze story.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We like to think of our Home Stagers as being in charge of “first impressions.” Home stagers are responsible for putting the ‘finishing touches’ on each of the vacation rentals we manage before guest and owner arrivals. They conduct inspections of all vacation rental properties to ensure the properties are secure, standards of cleaning are met, and guest gifts are provided for each arrival. Maybe more importantly, they “stage” the home to be ready for the arrival, including placing pillows just right, finding a few errant pieces of trash under the bed, or rearranging the kitchen to be presentable and feel clean to the guest.

This job is well suited for a detail-oriented person with an eye for making a room look styled vs. just clean. They must be comfortable with the pressure of busy days and find fulfillment in going the extra mile to make homes look ready for a discerning guest or owner.

This job is for Saturday only but could potentially work into more days.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel to and perform detailed inspections of properties before owner and guest arrivals to ensure that the condition of the property meets the expectations of owners and guests.

  • Become familiar with the layout of every property (where furniture and decor go) to ensure the property is set up the same upon each arrival.

  • Report all extensive cleaning and maintenance-related issues to the housekeeping manager and maintenance personnel.

  • Proactively offer suggestions for improvement for each home to the Homeowner Liaison Team.

  • Complete detailed checklists per inspection and communicate with coworkers via software and portable digital devices.

  • Assist in meeting any guest needs, including delivering amenities, removing items, etc.

  • During busy times, may have to strip beds and pack sheets/towels for the housekeeping team.

  • During non-peak times, assist in other department projects within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or vacation rental industry is desired.

  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

  • Availability to work Saturdays is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $16.00 - $20.00
