Job description

VOLO Health, headquartered in Jupiter, FL, is a proactive healthcare technology company. We develop advanced tools to deliver predictive, personalized insights to empower individuals and organizations to make data-driven decisions, promoting longer, healthier lives. VOLO Health is dedicated to developing a data-science-driven approach to assess, track, and improve healthspan. Founded in 2023 with the same data science background that has propelled its sister company, Voloridge Investment Management, as an award-winning quantitative hedge fund.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Clinical Sales Representative to drive adoption of the VOLO Health platform within physician practices. VOLO Health combines laboratory results and physical measurements to generate actionable health and wellness insights across six domains: Cardiovascular, Kidney, Metabolic, Brain, Inflammatory, and Longevity Health. The platform is designed to complement traditional laboratory information and support preventive-health and wellness conversations between clinicians and their patients.

The Clinical Sales Representative will be responsible for building relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and other healthcare decision-makers, conducting product demonstrations, and closing new business within an assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished healthcare sales professional with experience selling pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, laboratory services, or healthcare technology directly to physician practices. They understand how physician offices operate, enjoy building relationships, and have a proven track record of generating new business.

Summary of Job Functions

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to identify and acquire new physician practices
  • Generate new business through outbound outreach, referrals, professional networks, conferences, industry relationships, and other prospecting activities
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline sufficient to achieve established revenue and customer-acquisition goals
  • Develop trusted relationships with physicians, practice owners, medical directors, administrators, and clinical staff
  • Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand each practice's clinical model, workflow, patient population, business priorities, and needs
  • Tailor VOLO Health presentations and solutions to the specific needs of each practice rather than relying on a standardized sales approach
  • Deliver compelling virtual and in-person product demonstrations and clearly communicate clinical, technical, and data-driven concepts to both clinical and business audiences
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through discovery, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, contract execution, and customer handoff
  • Identify and engage the appropriate clinical, operational, and financial decision-makers within prospective accounts
  • Address customer questions and objections related to workflow, patient adoption, pricing, implementation, product capabilities, and clinical utility
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, next steps, and forecasts within the company's CRM
  • Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals
  • Represent VOLO Health professionally at conferences, trade shows, regional meetings, and customer events
  • Partner with Customer Success and other internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation and early adoption
  • Share customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights to help improve product positioning, sales strategy, and future offerings
  • Represent VOLO Health accurately and consistently using approved messaging and materials and avoid unsupported clinical or product claims

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of successful healthcare sales experience
  • Proven experience selling to physician practices, outpatient clinics, or medical groups
  • Background in one or more of the following: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Laboratory Services, Healthcare Software/SaaS, Clinical Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business rather than relying on inbound leads
  • Must be able to represent VOLO Health professionally and consistently use approved marketing and clinical materials
  • Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline using a CRM
  • Ability to travel throughout an assigned territory

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

  • Existing relationships with physicians or medical practices
  • Experience selling preventive health, wellness, or patient engagement solutions
  • Experience launching a new product or developing a new territory
  • Familiarity with concierge medicine, executive health, functional medicine, or longevity-focused practices

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped or performance-based sales commission
  • New-account and activation incentives
  • Health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance
  • 401K
