Job description

Job Title: General Utility Associate (Manufacturing)

Location: Florence KY
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM


Position Overview

We are seeking dependable General Utility Associates to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential to keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are supplied, products are handled correctly, and the workspace remains organized and safe.

Candidates with prior manufacturing experience are required. Experience in plastics manufacturing is strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support production lines by delivering materials and removing finished product.

  • Operate basic production or mixing equipment as trained.

  • Package, palletize, and prepare products for storage or shipment.

  • Maintain accurate counts of materials and output during the shift.

  • Assist with tracking downtime and identifying production interruptions.

  • Verify correct packaging and labeling for each product type.

  • Stage, load, and unload materials or shipments in designated areas.

  • Perform visual or basic tool-assisted quality checks.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace using established housekeeping standards.

  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe team environment.

  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.


Qualifications
  • Required: Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Preferred: Plastics manufacturing experience.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work long shifts on your feet and handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and building pallets.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
