DETAIL-Utility ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Detail-Utility Associate for a company based in Alabaster, AL. The Detail-Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of equipment, facilities, and work areas. This position supports the Service Department by pressure washing and detailing equipment after service work is completed, ensuring facilities are clean and organized, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding tasks while working effectively as part of a team.
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Detail- Utility Associate -Duties and Responsibilities
Pressure wash and detail equipment upon completion of service repairs to ensure equipment is clean and customer-ready.
Perform daily cleaning and removal of trash from the shop, bathrooms, break room, and other designated areas.
Maintain the equipment wash area, keeping it clean, organized, and free of debris each day.
Operate pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with general utility and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe condition.
Work cooperatively with service technicians, management, and other team members to support daily operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Detail- Utility Associate -Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous utility maintenance, equipment detailing, or related work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all responsibilities associated with utility maintenance and cleaning functions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow operating instructions and safety protocols.
  • Ability to use pressure washing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Dependable work ethic with strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Sufficient strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods.
Work Environment
  • Equipment dealership service and shop environment.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, grease, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Regular use of personal protective equipment as required by company safety standards.
