  • Assemble shelving, furniture, carts, and small equipment.
  • Perform basic repairs that do not require a licensed electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, or other certified contractor.
  • Report equipment failures, leaks, electrical concerns, safety hazards, and larger repair needs to management immediately.
  • Assist outside repair companies and vendors when directed.
Deliveries and Storage:
  • Help unload restaurant deliveries safely.
  • Verify delivered products with a manager or designated receiver.
  • Put away truck deliveries promptly and correctly.

  • Inform management when supplies, tools, bulbs, filters, or replacement parts need to be ordered.
  • Perform additional duties necessary to maintain a clean, safe, and successful restaurant.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of cleaning, basic repairs, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Able to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Able to follow written instructions and complete checklists.
  • Able to work cooperatively with managers, kitchen employees, servers, delivery drivers, and outside vendors.
  • Previous restaurant, janitorial, maintenance, construction, or facilities experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Able to push, pull, bend, reach, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to safely use ladders, hand tools, power washers, blowers, and cleaning equipment.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions.
  • Able to work around water, cleaning chemicals, grease, food products, and restaurant equipment.

Work Standards:

  • Arrive on time and ready to work.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Complete assigned checklists and obtain management verification.
  • Protect restaurant property, equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Never perform work outside their training or authorization.
