Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Summary:
Utility associate is responsible for running grinding machine, loading conveyor and moving regrind materials to storage location.
  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  2. Operate forklift.
  3. Separate materials based on compound.
  4. Load conveyors.
  5. Operate grinding machine.
  6. Perform daily preventative maintenance on grinding machine and conveyors.
  7. Remove regrind to staging area.
  8. Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards.
  9. Fill in for operator when needed.
  10. Train new Utility associates.
  11. Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform duties.
  12. Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
