Job description

General


Responsible for production quality performing inspections of work on production floor.


Tasks
  • Review Daily Deviations
  • Create actions based on daily errors
  • Ensure quality of actions entered
  • Ensure all errors are entered
  • Work with floor leads to correct errors in report
  • Track errors in a way that is easily manipulated for both EOD and EOM reporting.
  • Voice to assign responsibility with Quality Supervisor as the final word.


  • Take ownership of monthly quality figures
  • Should be able to speak to errors at department meetings having already addressed them on a daily basis
  • Work with leads to implement long term solutions based on monthly findings and repeat errors
  • Special projects
  • Clarity on e-mails and expectations from the project lead
  • Practical set of eyes to ensure expectations are being followed

  • Practical eyes to ensure steps aren’t being skipped and all quality points are being followed.
  • Specific focus on braille and MM

  • Scanning the floor continuously looking for issues, finding and resolving them before they reach end control
  • Spot checks that can be completed and a tagging system so end control knows the tool was checked by QC coordinator. Spot checks should include new customers, problem customers, and high priority/focus customers.
  • Primary FARO arm operator, this should be done in tandem with spot checks in addition to required faro reports

  • Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner.
  • Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies’ ability to meet customer requirements.
  • Perform routine inspections of work in progress on the production floor in all areas, addressing issues with Production Supervisor and leads..
  • Maintain Quality metrics and tracking.
  • Report daily on quality issues and suggested actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or CEO.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and handle 50 lbs of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
  • Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment.
