RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform Filter changes on all HVAC and utility equipment
  • The ability to maintain and keep an inventory of all filters on site working with our MRO team.
  • Assist HVAC tech on larger jobs
  • Make minor repairs to HVAC equipment such as belt changes, pully changes.. etc..
  • Assist in the disposal of all filter.
  • Maintain a record of all filter changes with proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain all equipment to the highest possible standards.
  • Perform scheduled PM's of related equipment throughout the Production areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment with consideration of all those who may be working in the same area.
  • Document routine PM's in the proper Log Book.
  • Assist Utility Manager with scheduling, implementing, and revising PM routines.
  • Assist with Capital improvement projects as needed.
  • Enter Maintenance Data in CMMS program.
  • Identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Perform Sanitation when required on serviced equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures.

SCOPE DATA
This position will ensure that the HVAC equipment in all areas of the plant are running to the highest mechanical level possible to provide the best work environment for the Production Staff..
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Though reporting to Utility Manager, individual should be able to work independently
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - team player
  • Hard worker who is a self starter and proactive
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Knowledge in tool, and equipment storage and use

EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in HVAC systems
  • 2-4 years in facility maintenance or something simular
  • Institutional, confectionery, or industrial Maintenance background preferred.

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma is required
