The pay range is $69,800.00 - $125,700.00

About the job:

As an Accessibility Consultant, you will apply your knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA requirements, assistive technologies, and Target accessibility standards to help create accessible digital experiences. You will partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle,providingaccessibility guidance during discovery, design, development, and testing.

You will review concepts, user flows, designs, andimplementedexperiences toidentifyaccessibility barriers and recommend solutions. You will conduct accessibility evaluations using manual testing techniques, assistive technologies, and accessibility testing tools, document findings, and support teams in resolving issues before experiences go live.

You will independently support assigned product areas while continuing to grow your accessibilityexpertisethrough collaboration with Senior and Lead Accessibility Consultants. Your work will help advance accessibility across Target's digital ecosystem and drive inclusiveexperiencesfor all Target customers and employees.

Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:

  • Professional experience in digital accessibility, including foundational knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA requirements and their application to digital experiences

  • Demonstrate innovative and creative problem-solving skills

  • Experience working across broad cross-functional teams and driving results through collaboration

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive work forward, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High levelof initiative, organization, and versatility with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty, and changing priorities

  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude

  • Hands-on experience evaluating digital experiences for accessibility,identifyingbarriers, documenting findings, and communicating recommendations to product, design, and engineering partners

  • Experience using assistive technologies to evaluate digital experiences, including screen readers (e.g., NVDA, JAWS,VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation

  • Understanding of how accessibility integrates throughout the software development lifecycle, including experience working within Agile delivery practices and cross-functional product teams

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
