Position Overview:

Luminate Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fintech Program Manager to support the growth and evolution of its Sponsor Banking platform. This role will be responsible for onboarding and managing fintech partners while helping design, build, and scale best-in-class sponsor bank programs. The Fintech Program Manager will serve as a critical liaison between fintech partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring that programs are launched efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with the bank's risk framework and strategic objectives. This individual will play a key role in shaping program structure, driving execution, and enhancing Luminate's capabilities in the embedded finance ecosystem.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Fintech Onboarding and Relationship Management
    • Own the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic fintech programs spanning multiple teams and workstreams.
    • Lead end to end onboarding process for new fintech partners, including due diligence, documentation, and internal approvals.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for fintech partners and senior stakeholders throughout implementation and ongoing program lifecycle.
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships to support long-term program success
  • Program Development and Execution
    • Partner with internal teams (Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology) to design and launch sponsor bank programs
    • Assist in developing program structures, including product design, account configurations, and service offerings
    • Support the creation of scalable processes and frameworks for onboarding and managing fintech programs
  • Compliance and Process Optimization
    • Coordinate closely with compliance teams to support program reviews, controls, and ongoing monitoring
  • Operational and Risk Coordination
    • Develop and document workflows, including onboarding procedures, data flows, and funds flows
    • Support vendor selection and integration efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience with at least 3 years in financial services, fintech, and/or bank technology.
  • Deep understanding of Banking as a Service (BaaS) models and embedded finance ecosystems.
  • Experience managing or supporting BIN Sponsorship programs (credit/debit/prepaid)
  • Familiarity with key payments networks including VISA, Mastercard, and Discover
  • Knowledge of third party risk management and fintech oversight models
  • Strong knowledge of Sponsor Banking relationships
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in fintech partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and digital payments.
  • Experience with HSA Program Management preferred
