Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary team to define user interface design requirements in alignment with product vision and to estimate and plan UX-related work.
  • Contribute to overall user interface design of features and applications within domain, incorporating usability, comprehensive workflows, applying standards and best practices, using various tools to create graphical interfaces.
  • Work with the product and development team to create prototypes and minimally viable products to test, learn from customer behavior and feedback, and iterate quickly toward an optimal design.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, leverage data from user tests, feedback, analytics, and A/B tests to drive the design process, and to create experiences that meet user needs (while simultaneously addressing business goals).
  • Present and defend design decisions, ensuring all design decisions are based on the overall design roadmap, design experience, best practices and fundamental principles.
  • Develop user profiles, journey maps, personas, usability requirements, use cases, and scenarios to articulate the solution experience.
  • Help define the high-level UX Strategy for the product domain.
  • Communicate effectively to enhance understanding of the opportunities and limitations of different UX strategies.

Additional functions
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.
  • Conduct research on UX best practices to incorporate into product standards.
  • Participate in, and in some cases lead, design interviews

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), IT/MIS, Computer Science or a related industry degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of industry experience in analysis, design, and documentation of B2B or B2C applications
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of design software and an understanding of design principles and techniques
  • Experience moving designs throughout an agile development process.
  • Portfolio showing past experience with UI/UX design is required
  • Ability to conduct research and/or collect feedback from and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Commerce Cloud and CMS transformation initiatives, including platform enhancements and user experience improvements.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Experience with design system adoption and governance, ensuring consistency across digital experiences.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, with a focus on creating inclusive user experiences.
  • Proficiency with Figma for design collaboration, prototyping, and workflow management.
  • Experience supporting B2B e-commerce experiences and digital customer journeys is preferred.

Travel and On-call
  • Travel less than 10% of the time to customer, vendor and corporate sites

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.
$77,200.00 - $100,333.33
