Job Description

Renesas is currently seeking a Program manager to drive project development for GaN product line from planning to MP (Mass Production) phase on schedule and on budget.

Responsibilities:

• Create project plans with precise milestones, ownership, and cost assessment 

• Collaborate closely across multiple groups such as design, packaging, test and validation, supply chain management, vendors/suppliers during project development phase.

• Implement best program management practices: bottoms-up planning, dependency mapping, critical path analysis and risk mitigation

• Act as the first point of contact for any project related issues 

• Lead and closely monitor the project development progress throughout all phases of the project

• Co-ordinate and conduct project Gate Reviews.

• Identify and analyze risk and have mitigation plans

• Conduct weekly project meetings with frequent follow-ups on all action Items to resolve any open issues

• Report project status on a regular basis to the senior management., escalate issues whenever needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering

• 12+ years in semiconductor industry with at least 8+ years of program management experience in managing SOC or discrete power product development for automotive and industrial applications

• Understanding of ASIC/SOC development life cycle

• Understanding and/or hands-on experience in design, test, quality and product engineering.

• Ability to scope and manage complex projects timing and budget spanning across multiple departments

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 including advanced skills in MS Project • PMP certificate is a plus
