Used Car Service Technician
We are looking for a skilled Used Car Service Technician to join our team and keep our customers' vehicles running at peak performance. Whether you're a seasoned pro or an up-and-coming tech, Rohrman Auto offers the state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer training, and strong book of business you need to maximize your productivity and income. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Complete all repair orders thoroughly and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status, additional needed repairs, and completion timelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with shop and OSHA standards.
  • Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with evolving technology.
  • Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed.

Requirements
  • ASE certification(s) preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or shop setting.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (brand-specific experience is a plus).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple repair orders efficiently.
  • Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
