The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Strategic Technology Analysis Group, part of System Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters.  Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF).  Come be a part of a high-speed low-drag organization providing unique and tailored solutions for our National Defense!

SPA has a near-term need for a Cybersecurity Lead.

Responsibilities

Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive, multi-technology analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards meant to protect organizational data assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.
  • Perform information system security and information assurance activities that lead to appropriate certification and accreditation (CA).
  • Create and develop audits, evaluate security test and evaluation plans and existing data storage, or transfer systems to identify weakness and assess risk.
  • Perform vulnerability testing.  Implement new or upgraded security measures or controls and documents system or policy changes.
  • Review reports/logs, investigate possible security expectations, administer incident response procedures and coordinate with government agencies as needed.
Qualifications
  • US Citizenship with TS/SCI + Poly clearance at time of application
    • Please discuss specific polygraph requirements with an SPA Talent Acquisition professional
  • 10+ years of related work experience with MA/MS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in STEM, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field of study
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of group/division priorities
  • Recognized expert at developing briefs and reports for project leadership team review
  • Ability to report to designated work location at Kirtland AFB, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
