Compensation Range: 108,800-150,000 plus sales bonus

Job Purpose

Manage and grow assigned UPS Strategic Accounts by developing strong customer relationships, executing account plans, and driving revenue growth across UPS battery systems, platforms, and services. This role focuses on disciplined account execution, specification support, and cross-functional coordination to protect incumbency and expand share of wallet. The Strategic Accounts Manager - UPS owns day-to-day commercial responsibility for a defined set of UPS Strategic Accounts, including end users, OEMs, and system integrators. The role supports long-cycle UPS opportunities and works closely with senior leadership to execute account strategies, manage forecasts, and ensure successful program delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

   Manage assigned UPS Strategic Accounts and serve as the primary commercial point of contact
   Execute account plans aligned with customer build schedules, refresh cycles, and approved specifications
   Support specification positioning and platform continuity across batteries, cabinets, and services
   Deliver assigned revenue targets and maintain accurate quarterly and annual forecasts
   Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including advanced battery technologies and services
   Coordinate closely with OEM partners, integrators, and internal sales teams to support program execution
   Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Service to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery
   Support pricing, contract reviews, and deal governance for assigned accounts
   Provide market and customer feedback to Sales leadership and Product teams

Qualifications

   5-8+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within UPS, data center, or critical power markets
   Experience managing complex customer relationships with multiple stakeholders
   Familiarity with UPS systems, battery technologies, or critical infrastructure solutions preferred
   Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
   Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple concurrent programs

Success Metrics

  • Revenue attainment against assigned targets, forecast accuracy, customer retention, program execution quality, and successful adoption of approved UPS platforms and services.

  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
  • Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
