Description
University Relations Manager
American Credit Acceptance (ACA) is looking for a University Relations Manager to lead our University Relations and Early Talent strategy and shape how we attract, hire, and develop the next generation of talent.
You'll lead our University Relations team, build strong partnerships across the business and on campus, and create impactful recruiting and internship experiences that strengthen ACA's early-career talent pipeline and employer brand.
What You'll Do
  • Lead ACA's University Relations and Early Talent strategy, aligning recruiting programs and university partnerships with current and future workforce needs.
  • Build and strengthen university and community partnerships and lead campus engagement across in-person, virtual, and digital channels.
  • Own ACA's internship program, delivering an engaging experience that supports development, connection, performance, and conversion to full-time opportunities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end early-talent recruiting experience, from sourcing and selection through offers and onboarding, while partnering with Marketing and Communications to strengthen ACA's employer brand.
  • Champion recruiting best practices and technology, including the responsible use of approved AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in University Relations, campus recruiting, early-career talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading early-talent programs, including strategy, stakeholder partnership, and program execution.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience leveraging recruiting technologies such as ATS, CRM, event management, and analytics platforms to improve recruiting outcomes.

Knowledge of marketing and candidate attraction strategies is a plus.
Position Details
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position operating in a professional office environment. Schedule flexibility may be needed based on recruiting activities and business needs.
Travel: Up to 30%, with increased travel during peak fall and spring recruiting seasons.
