University Development's purpose is to support the mission of the university by raising private resources to enhance financial support for students, faculty, programs, and facilities. University Development provides leadership and centralized services to all development offices throughout the University, serving as a focal point for annual giving, application development and IT support; campaign management; constituent programs; corporate and foundation relations; donor relations; gift planning; gift services; industry relations; marketing/communications; parents giving; principal gifts; prospect management, research and analytics; regional programs; scholarships and student aid; talent management; university events; and volunteer engagement.

Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Donor Relations and Reporting, the Donor Relations and Reporting Coordinator will be responsible for the cultivation, design and distribution of annual and ad hoc impact reports across both print and digital channels, in addition to coordinating with both UDO and external teams for the creation of direct marketing pieces including but not limited to acknowledgements, impact reports, giving history documents and videos.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
1. Excellent advanced knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
2. Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva and other design platforms and tools.
3. Experience in higher education or comparably complex organization, donor relations/stewardship or a related field.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication, strong editing skills, and the ability to work professionally and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities, and a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new software applications and programs as required.
