Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, outpatient position providing primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care services.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, preventive health, and wellness screenings.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists and support services.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
  • Participate in team-based quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Active or eligible medical license in the District of Columbia.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Commitment to serving medically underserved populations.

HRSA Loan Repayment Opportunity
Unity Healthcare sites in Washington, DC are located in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA) and are eligible for the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Loan Repayment Program. Eligible physicians may qualify for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment for a two-year full-time service commitment, with the possibility of additional repayment for extended service.
