Job description

Description:

Lead the overall operations, strategy, and performance of Unity Health Newport. As Hospital Administrator, you will oversee daily hospital operations, drive quality and financial outcomes, foster strong physician and community partnerships, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. This highly visible leadership role plays a key part in advancing healthcare services and expanding access to care throughout the Newport community.

1. Education: Master's Degree or in pursuit of a master’s degree in administration, Business, or Healthcare from an accredited college or university required.
2. Training and Experience: Must have a minimum of five (5) years managerial experience and demonstrate an understanding and support of the matrix concept related to health care delivery. Must have experience in the specific management functions of finance, strategic planning and marketing of health programs.
3. Job Knowledge: Should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in physician relations and community outreach.
4. Safety Sensitive: NO
