• Respond promptly to trauma alerts, performing initial assessments to evaluate patients' conditions in critical situations.
• Stabilize patients experiencing acute injuries and illnesses, ensuring immediate care to prevent further deterioration.
• Assist in resuscitation efforts by delivering life-saving interventions such as airway management, chest compressions, and administration of emergency medications.
• Collaborate with the trauma team, which includes physicians and nurses, to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, utilizing diagnostic tools to interpret test results and making informed decisions regarding patient management.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physicians, adhering to established protocols.
• Assist in invasive procedures, wound management, and other trauma-related interventions under supervision.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma care, recovery processes, and available resources to promote understanding and compliance.
• Facilitate the smooth transfer of trauma patients to appropriate units or facilities, ensuring continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
• Monitor and assess patients for pain management and overall comfort, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Follow strict infection control measures and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
