Job description

What we are building at Conveo

Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing and product teams.

#1 What problem are we solving, and why is this an important problem to solve

The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial. Running great research also requires expertise, which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.

#2 The team you will join

You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.

#3 How we operate
  • We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time.

  • We work hard, and we have fun.

  • To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help build and scale pipeline generation at Conveo.

This is primarily an outbound-focused role. You will be responsible for identifying the right accounts and stakeholders, building targeted prospect lists, creating thoughtful outbound campaigns and messaging, and turning market interest into qualified meetings.

You will work closely with sales and marketing to ensure our outbound motion is relevant, timely, and commercially effective whether that is through cold outreach, event follow up, webinar campaigns, re engagement sequences, or trigger based prospecting. Additionally, you’ll serve as a brand ambassador for Conveo at international events to identify and nurture new lead opportunities.

While you may support selected inbound qualification where needed, the core focus of the role is on proactive outbounding and campaign execution.

What you’ll doOwn outbound prospecting and campaign execution
  • Build and run outbound campaigns across target accounts, verticals, and buyer personas

  • Research companies and identify the most relevant stakeholders to engage

  • Create high-quality outreach copy tailored by role, industry, use case, and trigger

  • Develop messaging that is concise, commercial, and relevant rather than generic

  • Execute outreach across email, LinkedIn, sequencing tools, and other relevant channels

  • Represent Conveo at events around the world to identify and nurture new leads

Build targeted lists and prospecting motions
  • Create and maintain high-quality account and contact lists aligned to our ICP

  • Segment prospects by role, function, industry, geography, and priority use case

  • Support account prioritisation and stakeholder mapping for strategic opportunities

  • Launch targeted campaigns around new product launches, content, case studies, funding events, hiring activity, market shifts, and other commercial triggers

Own follow-up from events and demand generation activity
  • Attend relevant events, conferences, and webinars where appropriate

  • Manage structured follow-up for leads generated through events, field marketing, and content activity

  • Ensure warm prospects are engaged quickly and effectively after every event or campaign

  • Turn interest and awareness into qualified meetings and next steps for the sales team

Support pipeline creation and reactivation
  • Re-engage dormant leads and previously active opportunities

  • Work stale pipeline systematically to surface new demand

  • Identify where prospects have gone cold and build smart follow-up campaigns to bring them back into conversation

  • Help ensure no high-potential account is left untouched

Maintain strong process and commercial discipline
  • Keep CRM data clean, accurate, and up to date

  • Track campaign performance, reply rates, meeting conversion, and funnel progression

  • Feed insights back into sales and marketing to improve targeting, messaging, and channel performance

  • Continuously refine campaigns based on what is and is not working

What we’re looking forCore requirements
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, business development, or pipeline generation

  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills

  • Confidence identifying and engaging senior stakeholders

  • Ability to research accounts and tailor outreach intelligently

  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple campaigns at once

  • Comfortable working at pace in a high-growth environment

What great looks like
  • Commercially sharp and highly proactive

  • Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability

  • Able to write messaging that feels relevant, credible, and human

  • Comfortable testing, iterating, and improving campaigns quickly

  • Low ego, high urgency, and focused on outcomes

  • Excited by the challenge of creating pipeline from scratch rather than waiting for it to appear

Preferred experience
  • Experience in a BDR or SDR role in B2B SaaS or a high-growth technology company

  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Outreach, Heyreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar

  • Experience building outbound sequences and multi-touch campaigns

  • Exposure to event-based prospecting and post-event follow-up

  • Comfortable working across both strategic accounts and broader outbound campaigns

How success will be measured
  • Qualified meetings generated from outbound activity

  • Campaign performance across reply rates, conversion, and pipeline creation

  • Quality of account targeting and stakeholder identification

  • Speed and consistency of follow-up after events and campaigns

  • Contribution to pipeline growth across target accounts and segments

  • Strength of collaboration with sales and marketing
