) Unicare Home Care, Inc is looking to fill the position of Director of Nursing. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating all home health services, as well has handling all clinical operations of the nurse supervisors throughout the organization.
Requirements:
• NYS RN License
• 1+ years of Nursing Experience as a director of nursing in a managerial role.
• Prior Home Health Care Experience
• Ability to understand and communicate medical documents to all parties involved.
• Able to create and maintain all procedures as well as policies.
• Excellent managerial and leadership skills.
• Able to be flexible and easily flow with constant interruptions.
• Ability to quickly resolve conflicts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Direct day to day healthcare and professional operations within a home care environment. While staying in compliance with all pertinent rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Oversee all the clinical aspects of the RN Supervisors.
• Must be able to communicate and direct openly and easily with all staff members and clients.
• Work with Compliance Officer to follow all compliance regulations for all employees. Oversee training RN.
• Maintain and update operational processes and procedures for all nursing and clinical staff.
• Hiring and training all new nurses to Unicare Home Care, Inc.
• Use effective problem solving and decision-making strengths to rectify and issues arising.
