Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized therapy programs that align with each client’s unique needs through comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
• Conduct evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals, families, couples, and groups, utilizing proven therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief treatment.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for every client, enhancing the therapeutic experience.
• Maintain accurate clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring detailed documentation of patient interactions and progress.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health through ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Transformative Unicare Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your role will be crucial in providing personalized care to individuals who benefit greatly from tailored therapeutic interventions, thereby contributing significantly to their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Arizona is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience is essential, preferably in clinical or outpatient settings.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing clinical practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams enhancing care pathways for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

Transformative Unicare Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
