Transformative Unicare Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote position. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.
• Stay on top of regulatory documentation requirements, ensuring that all records are completed timely and meet required standards.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as directed by the clinical team to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans that address both mental health and behavioral challenges.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.
• Serve as a crucial liaison among service systems, such as state agencies and community partners, to forge effective support networks for clients.
• Maintain open communication with community stakeholders, ensuring contract standards are met and the clinic’s mission is effectively promoted.
• Engage in professional development activities, such as attending conferences and meetings, to continuously enhance your expertise and represent the agency positively.
• Uphold and promote the clinic's values and operational principles.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with the agency's mission.

The LMHC will work with a diverse group of patients, including those seeking assistance with emotional health, recovering from substance abuse, and requiring support for developmental disabilities or brain injuries. With a commitment to understanding each individual holistically, clinicians will use evidence-based approaches to foster recovery and community integration, ultimately helping clients lead more fulfilling lives.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• An independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida is essential.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and reporting is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong communication skills to express ideas clearly and support teamwork.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and make independent decisions pertinent to patient care.

• Experience in community mental health settings is preferred.
• Prior involvement with clients dealing with substance use disorders or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing mental health services will be a plus.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
