Job description

Position Summary:

The Cad Design Drafter will play a pivotal role in the facilities operation by drawing part prints for the shop floor and being a understudy of a Senior Design Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software based on sketches, or design concepts from engineers.
  • Generate 2D and 3D models for projects.
  • Revise and update drawings according to feedback, design changes, or project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project standard.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers and managers to clarify design details and resolve issues.
  • Maintain organized digital libraries of drawings and technical documents for version control and project tracking.
  • Prepare supplementary documentation, such as bills of materials or technical specs.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and design.
  • Mathematical and technical skills to interpret engineering and architectural plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
