CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant (Assisted Living)

Full-Time Evenings
Per Diem

Pay up to $22/hour (based on experience) + Shift Differentials

United Methodist Communities (UMC) is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for The Shores, our senior care community located in Ocean City, NJ, in picturesque Cape May County.


Requirements for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current, active CNA certification in New Jersey
  • 6+ months' experience in long-term care preferred

What you'll do as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for The Shores:

  • Provide personal care and support based on each resident's individualized care plan
  • Perform daily skin checks and report changes promptly
  • Take and record vital signs and weights as directed
  • Assist with dining, mobility, adaptive equipment, and restorative care
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition
  • Document care accurately in our point-of-care system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings
  • Support residents in maintaining independence and maximizing strengths
