Company: Exemplis Department: Order Entry Location: Cypress, CA, US, 90630 Work Designation: Hybrid Salary Range: $16.52 - $23.13 Position Summary: The Order Entry Representative is responsible for accurately entering, processing, reviewing, and managing customer orders within internal systems. This role supports key points of coordination between sales, customer service, and operations to ensure timely and error-free order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven, with strong computer literacy and the ability to confidently navigate systems, manage tasks independently, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week in Cypress, CA (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system, ensuring all details (pricing, quantities, shipping information, and specifications) are correct Utilize Esker/OCR tools to process customer order documents, and review system/generated entries for accuracy, making corrections as needed Review orders for completeness and compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contractual terms Draft clearly written customer-facing notes to clarify order details and/or resolve discrepancies Make corrections or adjustments to orders as required, maintaining proper documentation Assist in identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors Support high-volume order periods while meeting accuracy and turnaround time expectations Participate in a team-based order proofing rotation, reviewing larger or more complex orders to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to releasing Participate in occasional testing of new or modified components, pricing updates, and system changes to validate accuracy and proper system functionality Qualifications, Skills and Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years work experience in data entry Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry Perks and Benefits: Competitive Salary: Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation.
