Job description

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for experienced UAS Assessment RNs for a Managed Care Plan servicing Adults & Pediatric Patients in New York. Assessments are in-person or telephonic (only if patient requires and documentation provides justification for telephonic visit) . Qualified candidates will have prior UAS/MLTC RN experience an HCS/UAS-NY Account Number, bilingual language ability a plus. Qualified candidates will have a NYS RN License or NYS NP, prior UAS/MLTC Assessment RN experience. Patient areas available in any NYC Metropolitan area including: the Bronx, Westchester County, Suffolk County. FFS, Independent Contractor position available for experienced RNs! Make a minimum of 40 visits per month and earn $155 - $185 per visit!


Summary:

The UAS Assessment RN will independently conduct functional, psychosocial and environmental safety assessments, determine eligibility of enrollees, and complete appropriate UAS-NY documentation. Great listening and communication skills with a culturally diverse population that includes caregivers as well as other providers along with time management skills will be key to success. RN's will coordinate their own schedule with patients. FFS visit expectation is 10 visits per week.


Qualifications:

  • Current NYS RN license and registration, previous UAS-NY Certification / HCS Account
  • Minimum of one year experience in UAS Assessment or ReAssessment including QAS
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and NYS DOH standards and regulations
  • Bilingual Chinese, Hindi, Urdu and Spanish in demand!
