Job description

Acme Transportation is looking for company drivers for 2nd shift home daily positions. This is a intermodal driving position with local pick ups and deliveries from the rail yards and warehouse to customers. The 2nd shift posistion will consist of returning empty containers and chassis to various railyards and depots. You will also pre pull loads to one of our yard locations. This is a 6pm to 6am shift. You may start early on occasion or work late on occasion.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Two Years experience.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Show dedication and longevity at previous employment.
  • No refusals of dispatch.
  • Be willing to run all legal hours of service.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Excellent MVR.
  • Intermodal experience is a must!
  • Manual Transmission is a plus!
  • Must be able to work independently
  • 100% No Touch.
  • CDL A HOURLY 2nd shift home daily driving position.
  • The rate is $24-26/per hour with time and a half paid after 40 hours.
  • We operate newer, well-maintained equipment.
