These positions could sit in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

Summary: Interns will work in a variety of poultry production and live operations positions to become familiar with the various parts of the production process. They will also gain exposure to operation support departments such as Safety and Quality Assurance. Our interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation. Based on successful performance and the talent needs of our business, interns may have the opportunity to become full-time Cobb Team Members.

This position is slated for candidates who are currently local to this area. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local candidates are not selected, candidates from other areas will then be reviewed for consideration.

Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester of school remaining. Agriculture or Poultry Operations or other agriculture related fields are preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.
