Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Location: Washington Heights, New York
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay Range: $55 – $75/hr
Schedule: 2 Days/Week | 8 Hours per Day


Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical setting. The provider will work under the supervision of a physician while maintaining the ability to practice independently when appropriate. This role involves evaluating patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while ensuring continuity of care.


Key Responsibilities

✔ Evaluate and manage patient care
✔ Perform comprehensive physical examinations
✔ Take detailed medical and social histories
✔ Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans
✔ Prescribe medications as appropriate
✔ Document patient encounters accurately
✔ Provide follow-up care for new and established patients
✔ Coordinate care with physicians and clinical staff
✔ Maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment
✔ Assist the supervising physician when required


Requirements

✅ Active New York State NP or PA License
BLS Certification required
✅ Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred:

  • Experience in Pain Management
  • Knowledge of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
