Turf Technician
Company: All-n-One Outdoor Solutions
Location: Greater Jefferson City/Columbia Area
Job Type: Full-time
Position Summary
The Turf Technician is responsible for providing fertilization, weed control, and turf health services for residential and commercial properties. This role ensures treatments are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule while delivering consistent, high-quality results. The Turf Technician works independently and with leadership to diagnose turf conditions, follow treatment plans, and uphold All-n-One Outdoor Solutions’ standards, safety practices, and core values.
What You’ll Do
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other turf products in compliance with state regulations and company standards
  • Perform seeding, aeration, and additional turf enhancement services as needed.
  • Calibrate equipment and safely mix, handle, and apply materials according to label instructions and SDS requirements
  • Inspect lawns to identify turf health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain sprayers, spreaders, and service vehicles
  • Maintain accurate service records including materials used, application rates, and customer notes
  • Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and leadership
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet schedules and quality expectations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Support other service lines as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
You’re a Great Fit if You:
  • Have a valid state turf and ornamental applicator license; required
  • You have experience with turf care, lawn maintenance, or landscape services; preferred
  • Have strong knowledge of fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide applications and safety practices
  • You are familiar with mowing equipment and general lawn care practices
  • Have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Can use electronic devices for timekeeping and reporting
  • Can effectively communicate with customers, team members, and managers
  • Ability to pass a background check and E-Verify employment verification
Physical Demands:
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
  • May be required to drive between job sites and pull a trailer
