Job description

We're hiring our first Sales & Operations Manager — someone who will play a meaningful role in shaping what Zyra becomes. This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership over sales performance, day-to-day operations, and a small team.

Our next major goal is growing monthly sales toward $100k and beyond. You'll help build and execute the strategy to get there — identifying sales opportunities, improving how inventory moves from arrival to customer, advising owners on purchasing opportunities, supporting marketing execution, and making sure the operation behind that growth runs well.

What You'll Own:

  • Sales performance — owning monthly targets and building the strategy to reach them
  • Team leadership — scheduling, training, and daily direction for 2 Store Operations Associates
  • Warehouse operations — receiving → prep → storage → listing → customer pickup/shipping
  • Inventory accuracy & safety — maintaining high standards for both as the business grows
  • Purchasing insight — identifying inventory and categories with the strongest return potential and advising owners on buying decisions
  • Marketing execution — working with owners and marketing contractors on online listings, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and auction strategy

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years driving sales in a small business, resale, retail, or liquidation environment
  • Real supervisory experience with at least 1–2 direct reports
  • Comfort with inventory systems, spreadsheets, and making decisions with data
  • Strong independent judgment — after onboarding, this role runs with real autonomy
  • Bonus (not required): online marketplace selling, liquidation industry experience, marketing, or forklift operation

Compensation:

  • $4,000/month base ($48,000/year)
  • Monthly performance commission tied to sales growth
  • This is a performance-driven role — as the business grows, your compensation grows with it. Strong performance toward our next-stage sales targets can significantly increase total compensation.
  • Additional team performance bonuses at company sales milestones

Company Description

Company Description
Zyra E-Commerce is a Fredericksburg-based liquidation and overstock retailer focused on making quality home goods affordable. We source open-box and overstock inventory — furniture, kitchen essentials, bedding, décor, lighting, patio products, rugs, storage, tools, and apparel — from live auctions and wholesale. We sell through our Fredericksburg storefront, online store, and online liquidation auctions — always with deep discounts to customers. Every item is photographed and condition-graded on arrival. By moving surplus goods into homes that need them, we also keep usable products out of landfills
