Job description

Job Description
NOW HIRING: Truck Driver Recruiter
Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE + Bonus for Every Driver Hired
Truck Driver Recruiting Experience Required - No Exceptions
We have partnered with a well-established, asset-based transportation company that is continuing to expand its driver fleet. They are seeking an experienced Truck Driver Recruiter who understands the transportation industry and can manage the entire recruiting lifecycle-from sourcing qualified CDL drivers to onboarding.
If you have not recruited CDL truck drivers, please do not apply.
What You'll Do
  • Recruit CDL-A truck drivers for regional and intermodal operations
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct phone interviews and driver pre-screenings
  • Manage the entire recruiting process from sourcing through onboarding
  • Verify employment history and references
  • Process criminal background checks, MVRs, PSP reports, DOT drug/alcohol testing, and other prior employment history
  • Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and ensure FMCSA compliance
  • Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new drivers
  • Attend hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting functions as needed
  • Build strong relationships with candidates while providing an outstanding recruiting experience
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Truck Driver Recruiting experience REQUIRED
  • Proven experience recruiting CDL-A drivers for a trucking, logistics, or transportation company
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience from sourcing through onboarding
  • Knowledge of FMCSA hiring requirements and DOT regulations
  • Experience with background investigations, MVR reviews, employment history, DQ files, and prior employment compliance
  • Experience using recruiting platforms such as Tenstreet, IntelliApp, HireRight, SambaSafety, or similar ATS systems is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who knows trucking-not someone who has only recruited warehouse, manufacturing, or office personnel. You understand how to identify quality CDL drivers, move them efficiently through the hiring process, and keep trucks seated with safe, qualified professionals.
If you've built successful driver pipelines and thrive in a fast-paced transportation environment, we'd like to speak with you.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $65,000-$80,000 base salary (DOE)
  • Bonus paid for every qualified driver hired
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Stable, growing transportation company with a 40+ year history
  • Excellent career advancement opportunities

Truck Driver Recruiting experience is mandatory. Applicants without recent CDL driver recruiting experience will not be considered.
