What You’ll Do:

As an Account Manager at TriCore, you will own the growth and retention of assigned customer accounts by building trusted relationships, understanding each customer’s business, and identifying opportunities where TriCore can deliver meaningful value. You’ll use a consultative sales approach to develop account strategies, expand customer engagement, and partner with internal teams to deliver solutions that support customer success and profitable growth for TriCore.

Success in this role is measured by account growth, customer retention, relationship quality, pipeline development, customer satisfaction, and the ability to convert opportunities into profitable business.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with existing and prospective customers across multiple levels of each account.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, operational priorities, growth opportunities, budgets, planning cycles, and buying timelines.
  • Create and execute account plans and sales strategies that strengthen customer relationships, expand engagement, support retention, and grow revenue.
  • Maintain a consistent customer engagement cadence to identify needs, uncover opportunities, and position TriCore’s services and solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities within assigned accounts and prospective customers.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, priorities, timelines, decision factors, and project needs.
  • Partner with regional leadership, engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders to develop solution strategies, scopes, proposals, and quotes.
  • Gather the customer and project information needed to support accurate scoping, quoting, and solution recommendations.
  • Apply or develop an understanding of process systems, automation, controls, and industrial environments to support effective customer conversations and solution development.
  • Present TriCore’s capabilities and recommend solutions and quoting that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Maintain accurate customer, account, and opportunity information in Customer Center and other sales systems.
  • Support a smooth handoff from sales to execution and stay aligned with internal teams throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Share customer feedback, market insights, opportunity outcomes, and best practices to strengthen TriCore’s sales effectiveness, customer experience, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, Inside Sales, or Outside Sales.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
  • Experience using CRM software.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred:

  • Experience selling into manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience with process control integration or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing.
  • Exposure to automation systems, industrial controls, or industrial networking.
  • Knowledge of process systems including:
    • Mixing
    • Batching
    • Blending
    • CIP (Clean-in-Place)
    • Reading and interpreting P&IDs
    • Technical process knowledge can be learned by the right candidate.
