Although process automation lies at the heart of our company, we offer our clients a full spectrum of services including Network and Electrical Engineering, Visualization software development, business intelligence solutions, process startup and commissioning, calibration services, along with our TriCore 24/7 support.
The Account Management/Inside Sales role will establish relationships with clients in a set of existing accounts and will maintain an engagement cadence while seeking opportunities to provide vital services and support to our valued clients. Once found, you will propose solutions ensuring alignment between the clients' needs and TriCore's sales strategy. Additionally, you will promote TriCore offerings through a solutions selling approach.
The successful Account Management/Inside Sales will approach every opportunity with "how do we win this" mindset, embrace complete ownership and management of all your opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Account Management
  • Establish multiple key relationships in every account
  • Maintain an appropriate and effective cadence with every client contact.

Proposals
  • Managing and handling of all opportunity proposal work associated with their aligned regions
  • Coordinating with regional sales team on a recurring weekly basis to review work in progress, priorities, resources, scheduling and any other elements necessary to facilitate regional quoting processes.
  • Engaging with regional sales personnel regarding strategies, risk, and any other financial elements to give TriCore the best opportunity to win every time.
  • Facilitating the collection of necessary information to generate proposals, including engaging clients, to acquire information needed to support quoting process
  • Coordination of TriCore resources necessary to support the quoting process
  • Ensure that proposals are accurate and delivered on time
  • Assume responsibility for pricing, profitability, cash flow and competitiveness for all opportunity proposal work in their aligned regions.
  • Assume responsibility for anything with quoted pricing that leaves the building to include base proposals and all variation orders
  • Assume responsibility for the technical scope delivered to clients in all proposals
  • Solicit bids from subcontractors and provide necessary RFQ documentation Sales Support
  • Work with BDMs to fully understand the market segment's solutions, partners, and pricing. Use that knowledge to provide applicable solutions that exceed client expectations and maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with Managing Partners to develop client sales strategies to effectively propose solutions
  • Maintain an awareness of the status of all your opportunities
  • Support order processing efforts as needed
  • Utilize Customer Center to manage customers and opportunities
  • Providing general guidance, training and assistance for TriCore personnel regarding Customer Center, sales processes.
  • Maintaining competence with supplier technology and materials
  • Maintaining competence with TriCore technology and services

Foundation
  • Provide the foundation for consistency of offerings and pricing across regional clients
  • Support the continuous improvement process using information from completed projects and collaborate with the engineering and the sales teams to improve future proposals
  • Support the continuous improvement process regarding Solutions Architecting processes and tools.

Requirements
Required Skills
  • Advanced PC skills with demonstrated knowledge and application of Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle large volume of detail with accuracy and reliability
  • Strong people skills the ability to interact with new and existing clients face-to-face
  • Technical understanding of industrial controls and all TriCore products
  • Ability to clearly express thoughts and concepts concisely with written word
  • Detail oriented and proficient at following procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to take existing ideas and concepts and duplicate and adapt to changing requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers and colleagues
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
