About the Role
The Transportation Routing Support position is responsible for supporting the efficient coordination of daily transportation activities across multiple distribution facilities. This role plays an important part in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining service levels, improving routing efficiency, and supporting cost-effective transportation operations.
What You'll Do
  • Utilize routing software to plan and optimize daily driver routes across multiple distribution centers
  • Coordinate with Distribution Management teams regarding route changes, customer issues, delays, and delivery requirements
  • Monitor route performance, service levels, and routing accuracy while reporting results as needed
  • Maintain and update customer delivery data, including delivery parameters, address changes, and route-specific requirements
  • Assist with transportation analysis and identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conduct data analysis and generate operational reports to support transportation planning and decision-making
  • Ensure transportation activities align with company standards, customer expectations, and operational deadlines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within transportation and distribution operations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role operates primarily in an office environment with some exposure to warehouse conditions that may not always be temperature controlled. Warehouse temperatures may range as low as 36 degrees.
This position requires extended periods of sitting and computer work, along with the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, and transport office supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Onsite position
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, approximately 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Flexibility for additional hours and/or days during peak periods is required
  • Minimal travel and occasional overnight stays may be required

What You'll Bring
  • At least 1 year of experience in transportation, distribution, or logistics operations
  • Experience with route management or route optimization software preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, including hours of service, is a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate time and distance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
